Project Summary

This was my third tiling project. I had tiled the basement and dining room prior to this bathroom, but had never tiled a wall before. I started with the inlay in front of the vanity and then set the larger tiles on a diagonal. I designed the wall and measured it so that it could be used as a backsplash for my new vanity.I used decorative glass tile for accent and was nervous when wrapping around the wall when I was forced to place one in the corner and cut it ~ it cut perfectly! The tile that was originally on the floor was NOT set on HardiBacker so after installing the HardiBacker and new tile, I needed to use a double thick wax ring for the toilet ~ did the trick!
