Creating a Project:

  • Just go here and follow the simple instructions.

Updating/Modifying a Project:

  • You have a bunch of editing options available on your project page.
  • Just look for the edit icons. Edit Icon Click on them to change some text or swap out an image.

Uploading/Changing Photos:

  • You can Upload your own photos to to your project page. Images will be scaled down to 550x500 pixels.
  • Click change photo next to an image to swap it out for a new one.
  • Click remove photo next to an image to permanently delete that photo from your page.
  • Click Add a Photo add extra photos to your project page.

Reporting Inappropriate Content:

  • Click Flag as inappropriate and an email will be sent to our editing staff who will review the page immediately.

Project Summary

We're completely tearing-down our house and rebuilding it. We've been working with an architect and a contractor to design and plan our dream house. We just started demolition and are budgeting one year.

Our old beach house was built in the 1920s, and I bought it in 2000. It had asbestos, lead paint, ancient electrical wiring, some rotting plumbing and an awkward layout ... the works! :) Yet it's been my ... then *our* piece of heaven by the beach.

We're looking to turn it into more of a family home with 3 levels and a top-deck, with ocean view starting at the 3rd level.

Ground level will be a 2 to 3 car garage and storage area, a half bath, and an outdoor shower for rinsing off sand on the side of the house.

Second level will be 3 bedrooms and 2 baths.

Third level will be Kitchen, dining, living room.

... and the top deck for entertaining.

A dumbwaiter will go from the ground level, and serve each level up to the top deck.
