Monument Sign Repair....
There is a monument sign out in front of my house that has been covered by an ugly bush for years. I wanted to cut down the bush and turn the sign into a more welcoming type sign for when people come over. The "monument sign" has 2 brick cubes built approximately 3 feet high and then there is a 2X10 that reaches horizontal from one cube to the other. I am trying to figure out how/ if I could remove this wood and replace it with a new piece that is customized. Has anyone done this before or have any ideas? Thanks!

Welcome to the forums! First, is the sign on the National Historical Register? Would it be possible for you to post a few pictures so we can see what you see? May make it easier for us to determine what you can and can't do. How To Put Pictures In Your Post
