Mold Removal From RTV Silicone Shower Joint ?

Hi,

Have a shower stall that unfortunately has the 90 degree joints sealed with an RTV Silicone. The others are all the typical grout which i have no trouble cleaning.

The RTV has some mold, which apparently is below the surface, probably slightly.

Can't find anything to in the way of a cleaner to get below the surface and remove it.

other than totally stripping all the RTV off, any suggestions as to a cleaner that might penetrate a bit and remove this mold ?

Thanks,
Bob

Silicone caulk will need to be removed, surfaces clean and dry, and new caulk applied. Purchase mildew proof caulk.

Read the following for helpful info: http://www.doityourself.com/stry/mildewoncaulk
