Closet Hinges
Hello -
The hinges on my closet bi-fold doors give off a black dust. I'm guessing it's from rubbing caused by continual use. The pins inside the hinges also work their way out slowly over time. I've changed them a couple of times but eventually the same thing happens.
Can anyone recommend a good closet hinge? Is it because I purchased cheap hinges? Any thoughts, ideas or recommendations are welcome. Thank you!

Steel hinges will do that. Look for solid brass hinges (not just a brass finish). A store that specializes in hardware (hinges, handles, pulls, etc) will have them, or you can find them on the internet.
