What does "Reset this PC" in Win10 settings do?

Win10

Under Settings, Update & Security, Recovery....there is a selection that you can choose called "Reset this PC".

If I click on "Get Started" I am given 2 choices:

1. Keep my files
2. Remove everything

If I do the Remove everything selection, will that do a complete restore of Win10?

Thanks

It's supposed to send it back to day 1, with or without your files. It failed when I needed it the most on a friend's PC. Win 10 is a complete disaster almost as bad as Vista. I'm so sorry that I spent $1,500 on a custom built PC with Win 10.

You didn't waste your money on the PC. You just chose the wrong OS.

I can explain it to you, but I can't understand it for you.
