Redecorating my living room on a local classifieds budget appreciate suggestions

Hello,

I am new here, and I am also looking to redo my living room. I am redecorating my living room with local classifieds budget decorating. LOL I have found some pieces that I am considering, and will fit in my budget. I have a solid black tv cabinet, which I am sort of keeping in mind, when I purchase these other pieces, as the cabinet wasn't cheap, so it has to stay. It sort of has a cottage style. I guess I will include pics of the furniture pieces that I am considering purchasing.

Perhaps you folks here can help me with ideas about which pieces to select. The one pic is of a complete set that I really like, but I am sort of hesitant, as I need them to not clash with my black tv cabinet.

Hi and welcome to the forum!
Not a designer, so I can only give you my personal opinion.
I like the couch but not if you're keeping the current loveseat. The two plaids won't work together.
I actually like your current tables, but if you really want to replace them, I like the first coffee table and the last end table.

Thanks so much for your suggestions. When I called back on the blue and white checked with I thought was gray couch and love seat that I was wanted, the lady told me that had mauve in it.
So that sort of put a crimp in my plans, because I was looking at blues, greens and yellows, and gold.
However I did have a backup living room set, that also was in the classifieds and looked almost brand new. Well I got the second set, and the glass and iron and brass coffee table and end tables, and beautiful crystal lamps, which I would like to trim with black, to carry the color of my TV cabinet.
Here are photos of what I chose, and what now is in my living room, because these nice people also delivered my furniture, and hauled the old stuff off. This set was only 275.00 and the total
cost was only a little over 400.00 for everything. I think I can make it even more cottage with doilies, throw pillows and such!
