Replacing a 3 way switch with a combo 3way switch/outlet

Hi All,

Just like it sounds, I'm trying to replace a switch with a switch/outlet combo here in California. My problem is that the wire colors coming out of the box don't seem to match anybody else's description of how this is done. The house is about 10 years old, so fairly modern wiring I would assume. The switch I've elected to use is found here: Leviton 5645-W 15 Amp, 120 Volt, Decora Brand Style 3-Way / AC Combination Switch, Commercial Grade, Grounding, White - Amazon.com

Here are the wires I've got in the box:

And here is the schematic from the manufacturer:

What color wires go to which numbers now?

First time posting, looks like a great site. Much obliged!!

Steve

It sounds like you have a 3 way there now so take the travelers from the old switch and put them on the travelers on the new one and the point wire (dark screw)from the old and put it on the new,now you will need a constant feed to the receptacle which should be a black , white ,green, hopefully you know how to use a Multi meter so you can determine this or send a pic of what wires are in the box.
Good Luck!

There is no set in stone color code for a three way circuit and no single way to wire them so it is not uncommon for a diagram not to match. The key to any three way circuit is what wire is connected to the common.
