How to loosen/remove the collet in Milwaukee 5616-24 router?

I've switched to the 1/2" collet and now for some reason I can't loosen so that I can put a new bit in. I don't think I've tighten that hard but now I can't loosen it. I assumed it's counter clock-wise, correct? Do I just have turn it harder?

Yes, CCW. I find it helps to lay the router on its side, brace one wrench against the frame, put on a heavy glove, and apply force to the other wrench.

Okay, I guess I'll give a bit more force then. Thanks!

I have had to take nut completely off and tap collet to get one loose.
