2 partitions 1 keypad question

With a Vista 20p and 6160 keypad, I've gathered you can run a second partition from the same keypad using the GOTO commands for arming and disarming.

My question though is what happens when the keypad is in P1 and P2 goes into alarm or trouble? Will the alarm/trouble register at the keypad? Based on what ive read i am guessing no. To cancel the alarm do you just invoke the GOTO commands?

Unlike the DSC or Networx panels that can have a common (global) keypad configuration, the Ademco design only lets you see other partitions with the GO To command (and then only if it's an Alpha keypad like a 6160).
