Both pilot and flames go out after 10 seconds simultaneously
Hi,
I have a 13 year old Napoleon propane gas fireplace GD-15.
http://www.napoleonproducts.com/down...d15-manual.pdf
Recently it started having the following problem:
1) Pilot lights fine and stays on
2) Turn thermostat on to full
3) Flames ignite fine
4) After 10 -15 seconds both the flames and pilot go out simultaneously?
I cleaned both the thermopile and thermocouple. I get a reading of 400 mV from the thermopile. Cleaning it did not make a difference. When the thermostat is on the meter read about 170 mV?
Any ideas on what could be causing both to go out simultaneously?
Thanks

I managed to fix the problem but I'm not sure how or why. I used compressed air around the pilot area, and the gas valve. Maybe there was some dirt blocking the ports? Anyway it works now.
