Outdoor wood furnace making loud gurgling sound

I am having a problem with my outdoor wood furnace. I had to lower the limit on my water line stat just to keep it quiet. When the blower comes on after a minute i get a gurgling sound (pretty loud). It worries me that it will damage something so i turned down temp. If it is a lime or calcium build up creating hotspots how would i go about fixing the problem.

Have you checked the water level in the boiler? It sounds like water is boiling somewhere whether it's from mineral deposits on a tube or something restricting or blocking the flow through a tube. Depending on how it's constructed some can be opened for cleaning.

I have checked level. If it is minerals what might i use to dissolve the minerals without having to drain furnace. If i need to drain that's ok just would rather not.

Have you contacted the boiler manufacturer to see what they recommend?
