Convert gas starter to gas logs a DIY job?

We have a conventional fireplace, chimney etc. It already has a gas starter, keyed valve on the side. Would adding gas logs be a DIY job? I've found some online that seem well priced. Seems that it wouldn't be much more than a good tight seal and bubble test. Vented logs, BTW, that's the only kind I'd consider on my own.

It's a fairly simple installation. I've done 2. Make sure you use 2 wrenches to remove the starter pipe - one on the pipe and one on joint the pipe screws into. This will prevent unscrewing the pipe inside the wall by mistake.

I love my gas logs, but they do impact the gas bill...
