Shed foundation questions
Hi Everyone. I have looked through many sites trying to get a good idea on how to build my shed. First, my main focus is a tight budget and trying to salvage as much material as possible. I am trying to build a shed 10 x 20 with a 4 ft walk way on the left and rear side. So my idea was to build a platform 14 x 24 and then build my walls on top of it. I will be building this on my treeline and it slopes down about 5 feet. Considering the budget i cant really afford pt lumber but i do have access to eastern cedar trees. The walls are being built with wooden pallets. Still in the process of gathering materials, so trying to get a better idea of what i may need.
Ok so main questions.
1. How many posts should i have to support this structure?
2. Should i use concrete footers or bury the cedar posts?
any other tips would be appreciated.

You should check your local codes before you do anything. Some require land permit, building permits, footings, gravel base, etc....
Then when you find that out you can better evaluated your plans.
