poly carb and wild animals

Have any of you seen a wild animal actually eat through or break through a sheet of flexible square cell poly carb panels used in greenhouses and such..??

Wild animals do all sorts of things. Rats, squirrels, rabbits all have to sharpen and wear down their teeth, so your panels are fair game. Then, once they have broken in, they have a bonus in your fragile plant life.

They have even eaten the siding off of a friends house.

Bears can break into cars... so if there is food involved all bets are off.

Yes, metal is the best defense against smaller critters. I never have figured out their fascination with wood and plastic or their desire to chew on it but it happens annoyingly often. I have a shed in the forest and now there is not a single bit of exposed wood, the plastic went long ago. It is now totally enclosed in metal.

Yeah, Brant, our bears are waking up. Have to bring in the bird feeders nightly, or kiss 'em goodbye.

Oh, yeah. One of our resident bears stands over 7' tall and probably clocks in about 450 lbs. Planning for our fall bear hunt will be in a couple of weeks.
