Solar Heater for Greenhouse
We are in the process of constructing a greenhouse and were wondering what we can do for heat in the winter, we live in CT. I plan to do a hot water solar set up, put a couple readiaters in the greenhouse and run hot water through the pipes to heat it up, we plan to use bricks for floor with raised beds.
i doubt i will be able to reach the temperatures i want but im open to different ideas.
Thanks
Matt

You can try a greenhouse insulation to control the heat loss in the winter. There's a new one that is a clear coating here: Nansulate Greenhouse Insulation and Mold Resistant Coating

I've filled gallon jugs with water and put them in my greenhouse. Similar to the idea of rocks/bricks inside. The water absorbs the heat and releases it slowly at night.
I've seen some of the dome greenhouses with large black tubs for water too. Some people even use that water to plant....a water garden.
Good luck with the greenhouse. I'm in Colorado, and mine won't grow through the winter, but it should extend my season (first year with it). I know a couple with the dome type here, and they grow all year round. So, it's possible
