thermostat timer?

Im looking to either make this or maybe there is already something like this on the market? My garage is heated by a propane 60k BTU furnace and my current thermostat doesnt go lower than 45 degrees F. Now the problem with most thermostats is the on/off range is like 2-3 degrees. I want something to turn on the furnace at 35 and run until 45. This is why, its a garage and not 100% insulated. so coming on and only running for a few degrees then shutting off makes it run again and again every 10 min instead of 30 or more. any ideas?

I understand what you are trying to do but I don't understand your logic. Constant large temperature swings of 10° will cost you more then small changes more often.

because it only takes 2 min for my garage to raise 10 degrees. and id rather my furnace run for 2 min then 30 sec. cycling on and off every 5-10 min uses energy also.
