Electric stove tripping main breaker???

Electric stove tripping main breaker???
My electric oven is making my main breaker to cut off. The oven breaker is not going off. I have 100 amp and the oven is on a 50 amp breaker. Changed the oven breaker and still problem.only lights and tv on ???not 100 amps..Thanks for any help,

1st unplug stove from wall and see if it is stove or electric to stove. If short in stove will have to open stove and find short. If no visible burnt wires will have to meter components. Look at where cord goes into stove that is a place I find burnt wires.

sorry what do you mean stove or electric to stove??? no burnt wires showing at plug will look where cord goes into stove when i get home..Thanks for help!!!!

Electric I meant power from breaker to outlet. Unpluging stove will tell it if circuit or stove.

Unplugging stove will tell ypou if stove is problem or not. If breaker still pops with stove unplugged than problem is in wall or related to that circuit. If breaker only pops when stove is plugged than problem is with stove.
