    Yamaha G16 golf cart

    I changed two fuel filters yesterday and both arrows on the new filter are pointing away from the gas tank. It will not start now. the battery is fine and the lights are working. It tries to tart and makes the engine pumping noise but will not get going or even idle..just the thumping noise of starting. I must have done something wrong with the filters maybe?

    Most have only one fuel filter. Where are your two located?

    You may have gotten air into the fuel lines when installing the filters. It could take a little bit of cranking to get the air purged out of the line and fuel up to the carburetor. If the fuel filters have a clear plastic body do you see some fuel in them? They will not fill up but you should see at least some fuel in there.
