How to apply Drylok to annoying location?
I'm applying Drylok to my basement walls which, as many of you know, is quite a bit thicker than latex paint. The problem is I have about 75 feet of sewage pipe that sits about 2" from the concrete wall. Paintbrushes are no good; they can't work the Drylok into the concrete. Sponges are no good; I can't get enough leverage to do anything more than push the sponge through the gap. And both of those methods are really messy.
Short of donning a pair of kitchen gloves and slathering the stuff on literally by hand, does anyone have any good suggestions on how I can paint behind the pipe?

About the best you can do is load up your paint brush and really slop the drylok on above the pipe and let it run behind the pipe. Just be sure to go back and wipe out the runs before the paint sets up.
You might also be able to use one of those small diameter rollers to force the drylok behind the pipe. Just remember for drylok to be effective it has to be applied heavy enough to fill all the pores in the block.retired painter/contractor

If you do use your hands use a paint mitt not kitchen gloves. These are mitten like gloves made of similar material to paint rollers and designed to litterally hand paint areas. They are not that expensive so buying several sets might be a good idea since drylok will be rough on them.
