2002 Saturn L200 - flickering headlights & dash board lights

Does anyone know how to troubleshoot & fix flickering headlights & dash board lights? This does not happen all of the time but seems to be happening more often. The headlights are more of a concern but I would like to fix both. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Three possibilities come to mind as starting points. Bad/loose/corroded ground wire, or possibly a bad multi-switch assuming that vehicle has one. GM did have some multi-switch issues on some of their vehicles ten or twelve years ago but that mainly affected turn indicators. Don't know what year your car is. GM also have had problems with ignition switches that can cause blinking dash lights, but I am not sure if that could also affect the headlights. Could also be that. What more can you tell us about your vehicle?
