It's either burning it...or only losing it when you are driving. Have you inspected all the underside and around the engine to look for oily parts? If you have and see nothing, it's going out the tailpipe. It's a 20 year old vehicle...if it didn't use oil I'd be surprised.
As the Car Talk guys say...it's probably cheaper to buy a case of cheap oil at a time than it is to repair it.Vic

Two quarts a week is a heck of a lot of oil; you should be either leaving spots where you park or a trail of smoke as you drive down the road.
Measure it with a micrometer; cut it with an ax.

Why is it using 2 quarts a week.?
Because it is a 1991 truck as Vic said and the engine is worn out. At this point a case of cheap and thick oil is your best friend.

When I was young I had a few old cars that would use a quart of oil every other day and unless I tromped hard on the gas you couldn't see any smoke in the mirror..... so it's entirely possible that a driver might not see 2 quarts a week coming out of the exhaust.
My first wife had a chevy vega. Nice looking car but it used so much oil I'd change the oil in my truck every 1500 miles and then pour that oil into her car. Even with twice the miles being put on my truck - I still had to buy cheap 40 weight oil to keep the vega on the road.retired painter/contractor

I had a old international 345, it burned some oil and leaked some oil. I would buy cheap diesel oil by the gal at the tractor supply store.
