Stabilizer links replaced after 33k 2010 Ford Escape?
My daughter just bought a used 2010 Ford Escape from a dealer and the repair journal lists the stabilizer links were replaced. It only has 33k miles on it, is that unusual?

It doesn't seem to be on some vehicles. I did my front links on my Chevy at 40,000 and the vehicle only drove on paved surfaces. These have greaseless ball joints on the ends so that is my guess as to why they don't last.

These things are made so cheap anything is possible. Mine lasted 60K on one side the other is still going at 100K.

some times, the attaching nut will be slightly loose, causing a clunking noise.
Ford, on a Warranty Repair Claim, only pays a Tech for 12 minutes of his time (& he gets paid only by the total number of hours, he can string together, minutes, at a time ) to go drive this vehicle, determine to cause of the noise, & tighten said nut, park the vehicle, & fill out his paper work.
So, from his stand point, it pays him more to 'replace' the link, than just to tighten the nut.
( I did this type of work for Ford Dealers-for 30 years)

Unless it's a 4 cyl, wait until it's time for a spark plug replacement. Currently that runs about $350 for a V6...
