Replacing 04 cts battery. Extra cord.

So when I took out the battery I didn't pay attention to where this yellow wire was and I'm hoping I put it in the right spot? Please and thanks.

Normally extra wires like that attach to the positive side. Do you know where the other end of that wire terminates? Is everything operating normally or have you not started it up yet?

Well it doesn't really want to start. The radio and everything else works though. I believe there is possibly something wrong besides the battery though. Don't know what. Also I do not know where it terminates.

Does the engine turn over well? if so, does it spit and sputter or not try at all to fire? How was it running prior to replacing the battery?

Any chance the car has a big amp and speakers in it?

Looks like a crimp-on terminal for some accessory someone added to the car. Anyone inexperienced enough to use one of those under the hood probably didn't do a very good wiring job to begin with. I'd check if it's even fused before connecting it again.
