Swapping thermostat.

I am trying to upgrade the thermostat in my house. In the past, this has been a very simple matter of just swapping out the wires and keeping the same lettering scheme. But not working this time.

When changing from the old Simple Comfort 2200 to the the new Honeywell RTH7600D, nothing turns on, nothing works, not even the fan.

Outdoor AC Fan - Lennox 12HPB60 - 16P

New: (Taken from another post- wiring is not mine)

Old unit --> New unit
C --> C
R --> R
O --> OB
W2 --> W2 (Aux)
G --> G
Y1 --> Y1
Removed RC jumper on new unit
There is an extra white + green not used tucked into the wall.

I swapped the wired back to the old unit last night, and the AC works fine.

Pls let me know if any other info, pictures would help.
Any suggestions? Do I have a bad unit?

Thanks!

JUMPER must be installed from R to Rc. The new thermostat also needs to be setup for a heat pump.

Solved, thank you.

I needed that Rc jumper and everything seems to work.

If anyone is curious in the future, I used:
0170 = 7
0190 = 0
0270 = 3 (default would have been 9, but been using 3 to ensure the heating element gets hot.)

@hvactechfw thank you again.
