upholstering wing chair
I am new here: I'm covering a new wing chair that has never been upholstered, so I have no old fabric to use as a guide or patterns.
The first problem is the nosing/decking area for the t-shaped seat. I am not sure how to sew the nosing onto the decking so it pivots at the corner. I've darted the nosing, but when I try to relief cut the nosing to go around the front arm post I would need to cut through the darts.
Any advice for sewing/attaching the nosing and decking for a t-seat wing chair?
Thanks!

You might want to check for some books at the local library. There may also be how-to videos available.
