Remove floor bonding
Hi...
I have removed some tile pieces next to the door frame but I'm having a hard time removing the bonding from the floor in order for me to place the new tile. I'm trying to avoid dust also I need to be careful not to brake the remaining floor tiles, however, it seems impossible to remove it with a chisel. Does anyone has any suggestions on how to do this?
Someone suggested acid sulfamic to make it softer but I don't know the product.
Thank you, Rafael

Hola Rafael, welcome,
The person who suggested sulfamic acid doesn't know what it's used for.
Try a chisel-point putty knife, probably a small one would work best. 1 to 1 1/2" wide, they're pretty stiff, should work well. If you had one of those multi-tool thingys it would be even better, even this Harbor Freight cheapo. Multifunction Oscillating Power Tool - 1.6 Amp, 120 Volt

Hi JazMan...
I wanted to say thank you because that tool was exactly what I needed. They can take some abuse and complete the job. If you don't mind, I have two questions:
1. I have to cut a few tile pieces. Any tricks and/or hints you want to share?
2. I need to buy thin set to complete the job but I am not sure about which one I should by and how I should mix it. Can you help?
