newspaper as wallpaper
I have seen before where people have used either sports pages out of newspapers or sports illustrated magazines for wallpaper. How do you do this?

If It was me,,this is what I would do....lol
1. Cut some 1000 grade lining paper to length 2" allowance for both top and bottom and soak with wet sponge and allow to book for for 10 mins.
2. paste up your newspaper with thinned wallpaper paste and allow to soak for 2/3 mins.
3. Apply the newspaper to the booked lining paper so that all of the lining paper is covered
overlapping the seams by 2"
4. repeat process for other lengths.
5. allow to dry.
6. Trim the newspaper overlap to 1/2 inch with snap off blade.
7. Turn over all of the lining paper, paste fold and allow to book approx 10 mins.
8.hang first length using a smoother and trim top/bottom.
9.Hang second length overlapping the newspaper overlap 1/2 inch width onto the first and repeat with the next piece..
Its a bit like creating your own wallpaper without the use of traditional seams..
Best of British!!
