Place in existing floor system where joist movement is suspected to reduce movement and subsequent floor noise. 2 piece construction creates a solid diagonal brace against joist movement. G90 galvanizing finish. Shipped as 1 piece that e asily breaks into 2 pieces at center for proper installation. Meets ICBO, SBCCI, BOCA - NER 505; ICBO 5125, DSA PA-076, L.A. City RR25303 and L.A.
