3 Things to Consider When Removing a Wine Stain with Club Soda

A wine stain is a very common thing and if it is not treated properly then it will become a permanent mark on the piece of fabric. In parties, wine might fall on your clothes, carpet or couch accidentally. The easiest way to remove wine stain is by using club soda.

1. Take Action Rapidly

You must immediately treat the place with club soda, where the wine has fallen. Do not allow the stain to set or the stained portion to become dry. Use a rag or towel to apply the club soda and keep it soaked for some time.

2. Do Not Rub

While applying the club soda, do not rub the stained fabric, use a piece of cloth to dab the club soda and make the stain wet. Rubbing will increase your problem as then the stain will get spread.

3. Check Before Using the Club Soda

Before applying the club soda on the stain apply a very small amount of it on the clean portion of the fabric. Check if the color of the fabric is remaining intact and the club soda is not decolorizing it. After you are sure that the club soda will not have any bad effect on the fabric, use it for removing the stain.
