4 Thanksgiving Desserts

Filling Ingredients
- Six cups of sliced and peeled green apples
- ¾ of a cup of granulated sugar
- 2 tablespoons of brown sugar
- ¼ cup of white flour
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- ½ teaspoon nutmeg
- ¼ cup melted butter
- 1 tablespoon of salted sweet cream butter
Topping Ingredients
- 3 cups of Bisquick prepared according to instructions on back of the package
- 1/3 cup granulated sugar
Execution
- Preheat your oven to 350 degrees.
- In a large bowl, mix together all of the ingredients for the filling until the apples are evenly coated.
- Pour the filling into a greased pie dish or square casserole dish. Place the extra tablespoon of butter over the filling in the center of the pie dish.
- Place dollops of bisquick over the top of the filling in the pie or casserole dish to completely cover the top of the dish. Finish by sprinkling the granulated sugar over the top of the pie dish.
- Place in pre-heated oven and bake for 35 minutes or until the topping has turned golden brown.
- Serve alone or with vanilla ice cream.
