The humidity is your house can be diminished through the use of indoor plants. Nothing is more uncomfortable than humidity, and these plants help absorb that unwanted stickiness.

1. Peace Lily

This type of plant survives inside or outside. Requiring water at least once a week, this plant reduces humidity levels because it absorbs the moisture in humidity to survive. It is the perfect plant to have in your home in order to absorb the humidity. 

2. Reed Palm

By reducing moisture, this house plant can survive in low lighted areas, making it ideal to have in the home. Like the Peace Lily, it helps purify the air.

3. English Ivy

This is a hanging house plant and can remove the airborne molds typically found in humidity. The advantage of this plant is that it hangs from the ceiling, absorbing humidity that rises, and you don't have to worry about knocking it over.

Not only does this plant absorb moisture from the air, it balances out various humidity levels, making it more comfortable in your home. 

5. Tillandsia

Through its leaves, the Tillandsia absorbs nutrients and moisture from the air.

These plants can thrive without root systems, which makes them ideal to have indoors. In addition, these plants can live off of the moisture and nutrients from the air by absorbing them through their leaves.
