Learning black mold symptoms could potentially help you or your loved ones. Black mold is a serious problem that many people are faced with everyday. In order to prevent serious health problems, you should familiarize yourself with a few of the symptoms that come with black mold.

1. Trouble Breathing

One of the most common symptoms that comes with black mold is difficult breathing. Many people have trouble catching their breath inside of the house as a result of the black mold. Many people that have asthma are affected worse than others when black mold is present. This is why this symptom is often overlooked. Many people think that it is only the asthma or some other condition causing the breathing problems. However, if you notice ongoing breathing problems with any member of your family, it might be a good idea to have a black mold test done in your home.

2. Headaches

Another common symptom that frequent comes with black mold is headaches. Many people suffer from headaches constantly for a variety of different reasons. While mold is definitely not the only potential source of headaches, if you have continuous headaches, you should consider mold as a potential culprit. Headaches are always caused by something and you should at least eliminate mold as one of the possible factors.

3. Red Eyes

If you constantly find yourself with red eyes, black mold should be something that is considered as the cause. Many people frequently deal with red eyes and do not know what is causing them. A simple mold test could help you eliminate one of the possible causes.

4. Skin Problems

Black mold has also been known to cause serious skin problems to those that are frequently subjected to it. This could surface as a rash, hives, or other problem on the skin. If you have a rash that cannot be explained by a dermatologist, black mold should definitely be considered.

5. Memory Loss

Memory loss is another possible side effect of being around black mold. While this is rare, it can happen in severe cases. Therefore, if you find yourself experiencing memory loss frequently, you could be in the middle of a very bad black mold problem.

6. Dizziness

Vertigo and dizziness can also be linked to having black mold in your home. Therefore, if you constantly find yourself dizzy, this could be why.

7. Mental Processing Failure

Black mold can cause several mental processes to not work properly. For example, many people that are subjected to black mold find themselves lethargic to everything. All they want to do is lie around and do nothing. They are not motivated to do anything and they are in different to the results of their actions. Many people also have trouble concentrating on one subject as a result of the black mold.

8. Blood Pressure Problems

While this is rare, some people have blood pressure problems as a result of black mold. Their blood pressure will be irregular and fluctuate greatly.
