Dog breeding supplies are essential when welcoming a puppy to a new home. Below are some of the most important supplies you will need.

Shelter – Crate, Bed

The first thing the puppy needs is a crate. The crate provides the puppy or the dog a place to stay while it is unsupervised. The crate can be made of metal wires or plastic. The dog also needs a place to sleep. It does not have to a luxury bed. It can be any bed as long as it provides the dog a soft surface to sleep on.

Meals – Food, Water and Bowls

Food and water have to be served in a stainless bowl or plastic bowl. Make sure that the bowl is placed at least a good distance away from its bed. As a puppy, the dog can be fed with starters and can be changed as the dog grows. Make sure that the dog has constant supply of water as well, especially during hot days.

Home Cleaning and Protection –Cleaning Supplies, Potty Training Pads, Sprays

Dogs can be quite a mess especially when they are still young. Make sure to have potty training pads, anti-chew sprays, enzymatic sprays, mops, and essential cleaning supplies. Use potty training pads to teach the puppy to pee outside the home. Spray delicate furniture and objects with anti-chew spray. This will make these objects bitter. It is also nice to have a pooper-scooper in case the dog defecates inside the or outside the house.

Outdoor Supplies - Collars, Leashes, Dog Tags Poop Bags

The collar should be comfortable for the dog to use. It should not be too tight or too loose. A loose collar will easily slide off the dog's neck. A tight collar can suffocate it. Make sure not to leave a collar in a puppy unsupervised. Puppies are notorious for sticking their lawyer jaw into it.

A leash can be of any type as long as it is not a chain link. This type of link can choke a puppy and cause discomfort. It can even be lethal. When going outside, take some poop bags as well. It will keep the roads clean. Do not forget to get a customized dog tag for the puppy. In case the puppy gets lost, the founder can return it.

Grooming – Brush, Shampoo, Toothbrush

Dogs have to be groomed to keep them clean. Make sure to get a soft bristle brush and a nice dog shampoo. Buy a soft bristle toothbrush as well as some dog toothpaste. Even dogs need to have good dental health.

Toys

Do not let the puppy play with other objects in the house. Buy some toys and make sure they are safe for puppies. Do not buy very small toys as well as these may get swallowed.
