Are aluminum or copper half-round gutters easier to install?
Copper half round gutters are a durable alternative to the less expensive aluminum gutters. Copper gutters are formed out of solid copper, and that makes them more resistant to denting, tearing and other kinds of damage. The installation process for both copper and aluminum gutters is essentially the same. Because of their added weight, copper gutters may require more reinforcement on installation, and they may have to be installed a bit differently in tight spots. Aluminum gutters can be easier to install in tight corners because they are easier to cut. Because of the cutting requirements of installing copper half round gutters, they tend to be more difficult to install than aluminum.
