Are concrete patios or paver patios more durable?

Concrete patios are nowhere near as durable as paver patios. Patio pavers, small pieces of concrete designed and manufactured for a specific area, are more flexible in the styles, colors and textures. Poured concrete patios face environmental challenges that concrete pavers easily withstand. Pavers are, for example, three to four times stronger than the same sized poured concrete patios. Pavers are also made to interlock and that makes them stronger, as well. Concrete patios, on the other hand, face environmental challenges such as temperature change and weather while also facing challenges as the soil beneath them moving. Pavers routinely have 50-year warranties.
