Travel down the country roads of the northeast and you’ll discover Americana in original form. White painted fences surround horse farms nestled in the hills of New York, a family farm in Pennsylvania’s Lancaster County that dances through the year to the rhythms of the seasons and the aromatic blends of herbs and flowers that waft from a farm near Mystic Seaport, Connecticut. People who live in harmony with the land blend the world of agriculture with tourism. This intermingling of two businesses is an ingenious answer to the question of diversifying to keep a way of life from fading into obscurity. SILENT FARM BED & BREAKFAST
