Galvanized Steel Base Frames for Juliana Greenhouse

For more info on purchasing steel base frames for your greenhouse, click here.

We always recommend that you erect your greenhouse on a strong and stable foundation that is fastened to the ground. There are several ways in which you can do this such as erect a wooden foundation, a brick patio foundation or our recommendation is using using one of Juliana's custom made steel foundation bases.

The Juliana bases are constructed of a galvanized steel to resist rust and decay. That is why we recommend the Juliana steel base designed for the model you choose. Each kit is custom sized to the particular greenhouse kit you have chosen. The galvanized steel is 4 3/4 inches high and is simple to assemble with all needed anchor steaks. A close up of the galvanized steel base frame is shown at right.

Always erect your greenhouse on a good foundation. Before you erect the greenhouse, it is important to have a strong and stable foundation securely anchored to the ground.

Greenhouse kits placed on the ground without an established base run the risk of damage to the greenhouse frame structure. Over time the frame will settle and warp, causing windows and doors to jam and not shut correctly. A base frame also allows better anchoring of your greenhouse and lessens the chance of damage by winds and weather. The photo shown at right without a base frame is NOT RECOMMENDED!
