Many people have decided to use battery power tools instead of corded tools because they are great for small projects. Battery power tools can get into hard to reach spots and make tasks take less time than ever. It is very important, however, to charge the battery every so often. Charging the battery is usually very easy and can be completed with a few simple steps.
- Step 1: Take the batteries out of the tool and place it in the charging receptacle.
- Step 2: Plug the charger into an outlet with the DC cord.
- Step 3: Allow the charger to sit for an hour or two until the batteries are fully charged. There are usually lights on the charger to tell you when it is ready.Step 4: Unplug the charger and place the batteries back into the battery power tools. The DC cord will overheat if you leave it in extensively and could be a fire hazard.
Keeping Your Battery Power Tools Efficient
