Can I move an electrical outlet around 2 studs?
Moving an electrical outlet a two-stud distance is somewhat complicated. You'll have to determine where you want the outlet and then open the existing wall to expose the conduit carrying the wires. You will then have to drill holes in two new studs to reach the new site, and you will have to pull the conduit to the new site, remounting the outlet box. Assuming you have kept the amount of wall opening to a minimum, you will have to repair the open drywall with correctly sized drywall, drywall tape and spackle. Remember, too, that you will have to leave room to remount the outlet you have moved; attach the wires to the proper terminals and reattach the faceplate.
