Can I use roof flashing as a backsplash?

by DoItYourself Staff

Using roof flashing is a creative and inexpensive way to build a backsplash. This is a solution to save on tile costs. Roof flashing can be bought in rolls, and can be cut and shaped using tin snips. Attaching them will be easy with the use of nails. When installed, a backsplash made from roof flashing can be cleaned easily with a sponge dipped in dishwashing detergent, and rinsed with water.
