Can paint thinner be used on OSB?

by DoItYourself Staff

Yes, paint thinner can be used on OSB. However, you do have to follow the normal precautions that go along with using paint thinner on any project. You should not inhale the fumes and you should wear a respirator mask while using it. Make sure to only use just enough to get the paint off the OSB you are using it on, and don’t spill it or have it near a flame, as paint thinner is flammable.
