Steps to Canning Fish

Step 1: have the fish prepped and ready to store
Step 2: make sure you have several sterilized glass jars (quart or pint will do).
Step 3: Fill the clean sterilized jars with the fish. Make sure there are no air pockets and remember to pack the jars tight.
Step 4: Put the warm, dried lids on the jars, and tighten up the rims.
Step 5: Place jars in a pot of boiling water or pressure cooker and remove them once the process is done.

This simple process of canning fish will keep your fish fresh for years, and in the end it saves you a pretty penny!
