Canning Preserves
Step 1: make sure you have several sterilized glass jars (quart or pint will do)
Step 2: Fill the clean sterilized jars with the preserves. Make sure there are no air pockets and remember to pack the jars tight.
Step 3: Put the warm, dried lids on the jars, and tighten up the rims.
Step 4: Place jars in a pot of boiling water for about 90 minutes, and remove them once the process is done.
This simple process of canning preserves will keep your preserves fresh for years, and in the end it saves you a pretty penny!
