Step 1: pick out the fresh tomatoes and have them ready
Step 2: make sure you have several sterilized glass jars (quart or pint will do)
Step 3: Get a pot of boiling water in order to peel the tomatoes (this step is optional).
Step 4: Fill the clean sterilized jars with the tomatoes. Make sure there are no air pockets and remember to pack the jars tight.
Step 5: Put the warm, dried lids on the jars, and tighten up the rims.
Step 6: Place jars in a pot of boiling water for about 90 minutes, and remove them once the process is done.
