Chicken curry is an Indian-inspired dish that has globalized and now has many variations, depending on where it is prepared and served. Curry is a blanket word for a spice, gravy, or spicy sauce. It has roots in India and Britain. But, no matter what the origin, chicken curry is a spicy dish that adds flair and flavor to any dinner table.

With a blend of almost 30 herbs, spices and seeds including anise, fennel, cinnamon, cloves, garlic, onion, ginger, pepper, dill, nutmeg, mustard, salt and turmeric, curry possesses a taste all its own. It takes very little curry powder to produce a powerful and flavorful taste.

A typical chicken curry recipe includes chicken, white rice, onion, butter, garlic, curry powder, ginger, raisins, apple, chicken bouillon, and a bit of flour.
