Chicken Tenders
Kids love fast food, and normally order the chicken tenders meal. It can be an easy solution to stop for fast food to appease our picky eaters, but home prepared meals are much healthier.
You can prepare your own chicken tender meal at home, quickly and easily. You can use any cut of chicken meat, dark or white, depending on your taste and what you have at home.
How to Prepare your Chicken Tender Meal
If you have a deep fryer you can use it or a pan with enough oil to cover the chicken will suffice. The oil needs to be hot enough to fry the chicken quickly, about 375 degrees. Using whatever chicken meat you selected, roll the chicken in a mixture of:
• All Purpose Flour
• Salt and Pepper to taste
Shake off any excess flour mixture and drop the chicken tender in the hot oil. You will need to allow it to fry for approximately 10 minutes, until golden brown. Remove the chicken tender from the oil and place on a paper towel.
They may not be exactly like the ones from the fast food joints, but they will taste better. Serve your chicken tender meal with honey, BBQ, or hot mustard sauce.
