Choosing a proper cleaning products for your granite countertop is important. As a natural stone, granite is very porous and can be damaged by the wrong cleaner. Here are a few things to consider about the available cleaning products for granite countertops.

Stone Cleaners

When looking for cleaning products for granite, only consider cleaners that have been specially formulated to work on stone. Otherwise, you could run into problems that can not be repaired. There are many different commercial stone cleaners from sprays to granite wipes. 

Soap and Water

Although it may seem simple, one of the most effective methods of cleaning granite countertops is to use soap and water. You can use liquid dish soap and warm water for best results. Use a rag to apply the soap and water to the countertop, and then rinse it off with clean water.

Bleach
