what you'll need
- Tile saw
- Bullnose blade
- Angle grinder
- Polishing pads
It is important to understand how porcelain tiles are designed, especially when you are cutting porcelain tile pieces. Porcelain tiles are a great way to accent your home. A bullnose edge is needed when installing these tiles inside your house. Below are the materials that you need along with the instructions on how to make a bullnose edge when cutting porcelain tiles.
Step 1-Cut Tile
Using the tile saw, cut the tiles into your desired shape and size.
Step 2-Bullnose Blade
Replace the blade of the tile saw with a bullnose blade. This will take away most of the substances located at the tile’s edge.
Step 3-Put Tile On Saw
Make sure that the edge to be bullnosed in aligned with the indented portion of the bullnose blade. Press the tile on the blade until most of the tile’s material is gone. A curved edge will result.
Step 4-Use Angle Grinder
Using an angle grinder with a polishing pad, smooth the bullnose edge. Use the grinder on the edge in an up and down motion. Use it also on the length.
