Multi-Function Option

If you would like a multi-function oven option, i.e., an oven that can perform various functions including defrosting meat, fan assisted baking for more even temperatures, and other useful features, then an electric oven will be a better choice.

Crisping and Browning

An electric oven doesn’t require rotation of food in order for the food to be cooked evenly, browned, or crisped. This is particularly true if you are baking more than one item. An electric oven will crisp your apple crisp or brown your tuna casserole better than a gas oven.

Cooking More than One Item
